If you choose the Unfinished version, yes. The unfinished solid pine can be painted, stained, waxed or varnished to match your décor. Waxed and lacquered finishes are supplied ready to use and would require sanding before refinishing.

Yes. Both the main bed and the trundle are supplied with sturdy wooden slatted bases.
